After Dark

Those of you who know me will know that I love photography. I think it is amazing what you can do with a camera in hand. I am not an artist by any stretch but with a camera in hand I can create moments in a unique way.

I love night photography. Taking pictures when the sun goes down. Time exposure photographs that bring out the natural light or really highlight the natural light of the moment.

Here are a few pictures that I took when I was out downtown the other night here in San Antonio.

Rosario's Restaurant - Downtown, San Antonio

Freeway Underpass - Downtown, San Antonio

Tower of the America's - Downtown, San Antonio

Hello Martha, thanks for the compliment. This is why I love taking these type of shots, they are fun!

Here is the data you were looking for.

Rosario's Pic - ISO:200, F5.6, 55mm, at 3 seconds.
Underpass Pic - ISO:200, F4.5, 24mm, at 2 seconds.
Tower Pic - ISO:200, F4.8, 35mm, at 2 seconds.

Great, I can see these weren't exposed that long, but wow, what a difference a couple of seconds can make. And I can tell that you composed these so well. Each of these has its own distinct composure...rule of thirds, lines, etc. And I can see how you cropped them really affects the overall image.

You should submit these over at betterphoto. I think either rosario's or the underpass lines are winners.
