Happy Birthday Beautiful
Well, a little over a month ago my beautiful wife LeeAnn turned 27 years old! She's catching up to me quickly, but for some weird reason I am always older!

The Beauty Queen turns 27!
Well anyways I have been wanting to get around to posting this but just haven't yet so here it is. The day of her birthday, I arranged for Diana to take the two youngest kids (Tori and Jaden), while the other three went off to school. I had a nice day planned for just the two of us.
The original plan was to take my motorcycle out on a little trip through the hill country starting in Gruene, TX and finishing in Wimberly, TX. Well, rain put a damper on those plans, so we had to take the van. I tried to document the day as much as I could.
The day started off with me waking up the kids for school and singing to Mommy before she has woke up. Well, that was a one man song for the most part... Trey was laying on my bed, Joey was rubbing his eyes and Deleah was trying to sing herself, but I guess waking up and trying to sing isn't something that just happens, they needed time to wake up!
Next, I got the kids ready for school, and LeeAnn took them off while I started to get ready or something like that! We had planned to go to my Grandma's house in New Braunfels for a nice breakfast to start the day. With plans on leaving her house by 9am... Guess what? Didn't happen... We left Grandma's after 10am but had a wonderful time letting her serve us by candlelight, birthday cake in the morning (which we didn't eat), dip-it-eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, potatoes, orange juice and coffee. We sat around after that going through old pictures from years ago, we had a blast, it was a great opportunity to just spend time with Grandma and let her serve us for a bit, which she loved!
We then headed out and decided to skip the Gruene, TX part of the trip and head strait to Wimberly, TX. It was about a 30 minute drive or so from New Braunfels, it was a neat little town.
We enjoyed spending the time alone there, talking, browsing, just bonding and enjoying one another's company. The trip and day really drew us closer and gave us that time together that isn't always available with five kids.
We had to rush off at about 1:30pm to get the kids from school, and barely made it back in time. LeeAnn went to get the kids from Diana's while I took off to the grocery store to buy dinner, which I kind of made myself... Beef fajitas with onion, green peppers, red peppers, jalapenos, marinated in italian dressing and seasoning salt. They turned out pretty good.
Before eating we opened presents which was fun. We didn't have enough money to buy the things we wanted, but we bought a bunch of little things that Mommy needed. She loved it!
We then ate, and had dessert (ice cream cake), we have this little tradition we do where the birthday person get's their head pushed into the cake before we all eat it. Deleah did the honors this year to all of our delight.
Over all this was the best birthday yet for Mom. I loved it, the kids loved it, but most of all Mommy loved it. It was a very special day that I'll never forget.
I love you honey! Happy 27th, even if this post is WAAAAAAYYYYY late!!! Below are some pictures of our day!

The day begins, LeeAnn load the kids and takes them to school, so much for the motorcycle ride, RAIN, RAIN, RAIN...
